Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan wrote a letter to state Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, asking him to clear eight bills awaiting approval by Raj Bhavan. One of the bills that the LDF government has asked the Governor to clear seeks to replace him as the vice-chancellor of state-run universities.

The letter was sent as a reminder two weeks ago but the Governor has not considered the bills yet.
