Kejriwal and AAP govt. shielding militants, gangsters : Chugh

NIA or CBI must take up investigation in Sukhbir case

BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today came down heavily on AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal for seeing a conspiracy angle in the assassination attempt on former deputy chief minister Sukhbir Badal saying that Kejriwal was trying to deflect the gravity of the law and order situation in Punjab.

Chugh said in fact Kejriwal is trying to cover up the dismal failure of the AAP government to maintain law and order in Punjab following which hardcore radicals and gangsters have been having a field day in the state.

Chugh recalled how Kejriwal had spent days and nights with militants in Punjab during the course of his election campaign in 2017. He said Kejriwal’s connect with militants was exposed during his Moga visit when he stayed at the house of a militant.

It exposed his and his party’s strong links with the Punjab militants. Chugh said Punjab today is shocked by the behind-the-stage activities of the Bhagwant Mann government which is guided by Kejriwal’s vision of supporting gangsters and militants.

Chugh reiterated his demand for a CBI or NIA investigation into the incident to expose the failures of the AAP government in maintaining law and order in Punjab and causing a threat to even those who are having Z plus security.

He wondered what would be the fate of the common man if such conspiracies are allowed to grow in Punjab under the AAP government rule.
