Katrina Kaif has revealed the first poster for her upcoming film, Tiger 3, where she takes on the role of Zoya opposite Salman Khan’s character, Tiger, in this action-packed thriller. The poster showcases Katrina in the midst of an intense action sequence, gripping a rope in one hand and a gun in the other. Despite the high-octane scene, she maintains a stylish demeanor in a leather jacket, pants, and boots.
Taking to Instagram to share her Tiger 3 poster, Katrina captioned it with, “Fighting fire with fire, that’s Zoya…..” Karan Johar responded to the poster with “Kat” along with numerous heart emojis. A fan hailed her as the “Queen of Action,” while another eagerly expressed, “Can’t wait for Zoya to set the screen on fire this Diwali.”
In Tiger 3, like Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif will also have multiple action-packed sequences. Describing her portrayal of Zoya, she stated, “Zoya is the inaugural female spy of the YRF Spy Universe, and I take immense pride in portraying a character like her. She is fierce, courageous, compassionate, loyal, protective, nurturing, and, above all, an advocate for humanity, every single time.”
Katrina Kaif also shared insights into the challenges she faced for the film. “Portraying Zoya in the YRF Spy Universe has been an incredible journey, and I have pushed my limits in every film. Tiger 3 is no exception. This time, we aimed to elevate the action sequences, and I have pushed my body to its limits for the film, and audiences will witness that. Physically, this has been my most demanding film yet,” she revealed.
The actor further elaborated on her role, saying, “It is always exhilarating to engage in action, and I have been a fan of the genre for as long as I can remember. So, embodying Zoya is a dream come true for me. Strong, gutsy, badass, and unapologetic! I’m eager to see people’s reactions when they witness Zoya on screen. She is the complementary force to Tiger’s character.”
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 is scheduled for release this Diwali in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. While it’s reported that Emraan Hashmi plays the antagonist, there hasn’t been an official confirmation yet. Additionally, Revathi, Ridhi Dogra, Vishal Jethwa, Kumud Mishra, and Ranvir Shorey are said to be part of the cast. Shah Rukh Khan will also make a guest appearance as Pathaan in Tiger 3.
