Kashmir: Tourist from Odisha killed, 3 hurt in mishap

A tourist killed while three others suffered wounds yesterday after a vehicle they were travelling in met with a road mishap at Daksum area of district Anantnag.

As per report, the mishap happened when a vehicle bearing registration no. ‘HR55AM-5306’ carrying tourists from Odisha overturned turtle at Daksum in Anantnag.

After the accident, the wounded were taken to a local health facility where one among the tourists was pronounced as dead on arrival.

The deceased tourist was  identified as Durgais Naik (32) , son of Bhutrak, a resident of Odisha state.

The wounded were identified as Vikram Kumar Naik (32) s/o Gautam Kumar Naik of, Surjit Kumar (35), s/o Narenjander Kumar and Basant Kumar (30) s/o  Ravender Kumar all residents  of Odisha state.
