Several higher reaches of Kashmir witnessed fresh snowfall on Friday, accompanied by rain in the plains, resulting in a drop in temperatures. However, the Meteorological Department has warned of another heatwave from June 10.
Areas including Affarwat in Gulmarg, Razdan Top, Zojilla, Sadhna Top, and Sinthan Top experienced fresh snowfall, causing a slight decrease in temperatures.
Reports indicate that several places recorded a few inches of rainfall today, with intermittent rainfall continuing for the third straight day in the plains of Jammu and Kashmir.
