An auto rickshaw driver was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Sonwar area of Srinagar on yesterday night, reports said.
Reports said that an auto rickshaw driver was hit by an unknown vehicle near Sonwar Bagh late Monday night.
He was rushed to SMHS hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh, a resident of Pampore in southern Kashmir.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and investigations are underway.
