Jammu Kashmir United Movement district Srinagar assessed its performance, discussed future strategy and nominated office bearers in a district level meeting held in Srinagar here today.
The Party president Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar presided over the meeting while the prominent leaders were present on the occasion.
During the meeting President Ishfaq Jabbar highlighted the importance of Srinagar district as a vital political battleground in Jammu and Kashmir. He stressed the need for the party to proactively engage with local communities address their concerns and work towards their development.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for party members to present their reports on activities and initiatives implemented in Srinagar district. President Jabbar listened attentively appreciated the achievements and critically analyzed areas that required improvement.
Recognizing the significance of strong leadership at the district level President Jabbar nominated a team of dedicated party members as constituency incharges and office bearers for Srinagar district. These individuals were chosen based on their experience commitment and ability to connect with the local populace. The newly appointed office bearers will play a crucial role in mobilizing support organizing party activities and coordinating the party’s agenda in the district.
On the occasion Haji Khalid Ahmad was nominated as District President Srinagar and Constiruency Incharge Batmaloo, Haji Faiz ahmad Bhat treasurer JKUM was nominated as constituency incharge Hazratbal, Ishfaq Gilkar as Spokesperson , Abdul Hameed Khan as Vice President Srinagar , Ali Mohd as District Secretary Srinagar, Nazir Ahmad as Joint Secretary Srinagar , and Syed Sana as District Secretary Women’s Wing Srinagar.
He urged the party leaders and workers to intensify their political activities and public outreach programs to remain connected with the people at grass root level. He said, “Ours is a party of masses, therefore, we must be well linked with the masses. Our key agenda is to ensure people’s well being in terms of striving for peace, development, and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.”
After setting the groundwork for future plans President Jabbar emphasized the importance of effective communication and coordination among party members throughout Srinagar district. He encouraged active participation in grassroots-level initiatives ensuring that the party’s agenda aligns with the aspirations and needs of the people.
In his concluding remarks President Jabbar affirmed his commitment to working tirelessly for the welfare and progress of Srinagar district. He urged party members to remain dedicated united and focused on strengthening the party’s presence in the district. President Jabbar expressed his confidence that with the collective efforts of its members JKUM would become an even stronger force in Srinagar district’s political landscape.
