In a shocking incident, a J&K police team on Thursday has been attacked by aides of a drug dealer in Bishnah area of Jammu, when they went to nab the accused.
According to the report, the incident happened when a joint raid was conducted in a house of drug peddler identified as Luv Gujjar in Bishnah area of Jammu this morning by SHO RS Pura, SHO Bishnah, SHO Arnia, SHO Meeran Sahib, SOG personnel. During the raid when the raid teams tried to nab the accused his gang resorted to stone pelting at the cops, resulting in injuries to a J&K police head constable who was part of the raid team.
After the incident, the wounded cop was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
The wounded J&K police Head Constable has been identified as Bansi Lal.
