J&k Police Celebrates Constitution Day In Kishtwar District

Ssp Kishtwar Also Holds Darbar Of Officers/officials At Dpl Kishtwar

To commemorate Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, a solemn function was organized at the District Police Lines (DPL) Kishtwar today. The event was presided over by SSP Kishtwar, Sh. Javaid Iqbal Mir-JKPS, accompanied by SP OPS Kishtwar,Dy. SP DAR, Dy. SP PC and other officers.

During the ceremony, SSP Kishtwar led the reading of the Preamble of the Constitution of India and administered the Preamble pledge to the officers and Jawans present.

Simultaneously, Constitution Day was observed across all subordinate units of Kishtwar Police, where the respective Police Heads presided over similar functions, reaffirming their commitment to the principles enshrined in the Constitution of India.

In addition to the Constitution Day function, SSP Kishtwar Sh. Javaid Iqbal Mir-JKPS conducted a Darbar with officers and officials at the District Police Lines (DPL) Kishtwar. During the Darbar, the SSP addressed various professional and welfare-related issues, urging the personnel to uphold constitutional values in their duties.

SSP Kishtwar directed all subordinate units to ensure that instructions from worthy DGP J&K are implemented effectively on the ground. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest standards of discipline, turnout, and behavior. Personnel were advised to display the best turnout, wear clean uniforms, and exhibit soft and courteous behavior while interacting with the public during duty hours. The SSP underscored the need for every officer to serve as a role model, reflecting the ethos and professionalism of J&K Police.
