Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday have arrested four absconders who were evading their arrests from decades in case FIR No’s. 296/1998, 25/2014, 16/2011 & 67/2022 of PS Pattan, PS Chandoosa,PS Sheeri & PS Kunzer respectively in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A Police spokesperson said that Warrant under section 512 CrPC issued by Hon’ble Court of 1st Addl. sessions Judge Baramulla, JMIC Tangmarg & Sub Judge JMIC Baramulla pending with Police Station Kunzer/ Chandoosa & Sheeri against accused persons namely Manzoor Ahmad Shah son of Ab Majeed Shah resident of Eidgah Srinagar, Mohd Rafiq Khatan son of Saif Din resident of Rengawali Tangmarg, Mohd Yousuf Sheikh son of Gh Rasool resident of Bujthalan Boniyar & Babar Bashir Pala son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Krankshivan Sopore were executed, who were evading their arrests from last decades, involved in case FIR No’s. 296/1998, 25/2014, 16/2011 & 67/2022 of Police Station Pattan/ Chandoosa/ Sheeri & Kunzer were arrested by a special Police team under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla, SDPO Tangmarg & Kreeri and consisting of SHO PS Kunzer, SHO PS Chandoosa & SHO PS Sheeri among others.
Subsequently, the arrested accused persons were produced before the Hon’ble Court of Law.
