Srinagar, May 30 (Gulistan News) : The Jammu and Kashmir Government has officially announced the schedule for summer vacations in all Government Degree Colleges across the Union Territory, including those in the Kashmir Division and both zones of Jammu Division.

According to an order issued by the Higher Education Department, Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir Division will remain closed for summer break from 15th July to 24th July 2025.

In the Jammu Division, the vacation schedule varies by zone. Colleges falling under the Summer Zone will observe summer vacations from 1st June to 15th July 2025. Meanwhile, colleges in the Winter Zone of Jammu Division will follow the Kashmir schedule and remain closed from 15th July to 24th July 2025.

The decision comes in light of the approaching peak summer season and aims to provide respite to students and staff across the UT. (Gulistan News)
