Jemimah Rodrigues’ parents, Ivan Rodrigues, and Lavita Rodrigues were filled with pride as their daughter got set to play in the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL).
Rodrigues is set to ply her trade for the Delhi Capitals, captained by Meg Lanning, who recently led Australia to their sixth Women’s T20 World Cup title.
“Just thankful to god for giving her this moment and you want to cherish it,” Jemimah’s mother said.
