India pacer Mohammed Shami has admitted that the absence of pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is always felt, but added that the management and players are hoping he recovers quickly and rejoins the team to help strengthen the setup.
Bumrah has been out of action since September 2022 due to his back injury. He was named to the Indian squad for the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka at home but was later ruled out as a precautionary measure.
