A Kabaddi Tournament was organised by Jammu & Kashmir under Civic Action Programme here at Govt Hr Sec School Akhnoor under the supervision Mohal Lal Sharma SDPO Akhnoor & Tariq Ahmed SHO Akhnoor. A total of six teams participated in the event.
Little Flowers High School Akhnoor, Little Stars High School Akhnoor, Singh Warriors Akhnoor, New Bal Shiksha Kendra Sungal, Akhnoor Warriors & Govt Middle school Akhnoor.
Brijesh Sharma SP Rural was the Chief Guest on the occasion distributed prizes among the players and appreciated the players the organisers for making the event successful. He also assured that such events will be held in the future.
In the Final Match New Bal Shiksha Kendra Sungal beat Little Flowers High School Akhnoor by 52-17 points and lifted the winning trophy. Shantanu of New Bal Shiksha Kendra got player of the tournament prize. Sahil Sharma and Smile Chib were the match referees while Dev Pal was the scorer. Others present were Kr Sham Singh Langeh (Zonal Head Divyang Cricket control Board of India), Deepak Sharma (Sr Cricketer), Yogesh Sharma (Principal NBSK Sungal), Deepak Mangotra (Manager Little Flowers High School Akhnoor) and a lot of spectators.
JKP is organising such great events in the whole UT to channelise the youth energy in the right directions.
