The annual sports day at Impression World Preschool, Jammu was conducted with great zeal and excitement on February 16 2024.
The programme began with Ribbon cutting and an inaugural address by the chief guest, followed by the drill performed by all the students of Impression world pre school. Parents also participated in the drill along with students and staff. Students of senior kg were the torchbearers who ran one by one holding the torch. A series of sports events were organised for these tiny tots which included various track events. Squadron Leader Anil Sehgal and Mrs Seema Anil Sehgal were the Chief Guests for the occasion.
Anil Sehgal emphasised that children should not treat life like a rat race, they should enjoy every milestone of their childhood and be independent. He also appreciated how parents showed their involvement and participation in the races during sports day.
All the children were presented with medals to keep their spirit high.
Highlighting the significance of nurturing disporting spirit, Shivani Sharma, the Principal revealed that the Preschool organises the Sports Day every year.
“We have been organising the Sport event every year to ensure holistic development of kids,” said Shivani Sharma.
Both the students as well as the staff enjoyed exciting games like Obstacle Race, Brick Race, Hoola Hoop, Balancing the Ball, My Daddy Strongest and Water Relay.
Anil Sehgal appreciated Impression world’s team effort and vision of the Principal Shivani Sharma. The event concluded with vote of thanks by the principal.
