Jammu Club celebrated New Year 2023 with great enthusiasm in the Club premises on 31st December night.
On the occasion, Sh . Mukesh Singh, IPS, ADGP and Sh. Ramesh Kumar, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, who is also the Vice President of Jammu Club were the special guests.
Gaurav Gupta, Honorary Secretary Jammu Club , in his address, greeted the people on the New Year 2023 and wished that 2023 would usher in peace and happiness for all and see progress, prosperity, and well-being of all sections of society. He also hoped the New Year to be a year of development, harmony, social integration, and better health for all the people of UT. He wished them a successful year ahead.
The Club’s Secretary said that holding of such events from time to time by the Club is not only a matter of entertainment but such events go a long way in preserving and promoting the traditions being carried on since long. He said that such festival marks the spirit of vivaciousness, joy, and compassion where in the participants enjoyed with colorful dance performance, upbeat music , yummy ethnic food, etc.
The Hony. Secretary also expressed gratitude to the members of the Managing Committee , Entertainment Sub Committee headed by its Chairperson Mrs Indu Puri and staff members for their wholehearted support to make this event a memorable. He assured the esteemed Club members that such programmes will continue in near future in their general interest.
