October 25, Baramulla (Jammu and Kashmir) [India]: After last night’s firefight between the Indian Army and terrorists, search operations in Baramulla resumed on Friday morning.
Terrorists attacked a military vehicle in Baramulla, killing two Indian Army soldiers and two civilian porters. According to Indian Army officials, one soldier and one porter are hurt and receiving medical attention.
The Chinar corps, based in Srinagar, stated in an initial post on X that “Terrorists and the Indian Army engaged in a brief firefight in the general area of Butapathri, Baramulla. Two soldiers and two porters were injured during the firefight and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Chinar Corps subsequently reported, “Two soldiers and two porters were injured during the firefight and were evacuated for medical treatment. The operation is underway.
Terrorists shot at and wounded a laborer in the Batgund Tral neighborhood of Pulwama district on the same day (October 24). Pritam Singh, an Uttar Pradesh resident, was identified as the injured worker.
Earlier on October 20, terrorists attacked a tunnel construction site in the Ganderbal district on the Srinagar-Leh national highway, killing a doctor and six construction workers.
