Here’s how you can book train tickets on Amazon:
- Open the Amazon app and go to the ‘Amazon Pay’ tab.
- Choose ‘Trains’ under the ‘Book Tickets’ section and enter your source and destination stations.
- Provide the date of your journey.
- Select the class in which you want to travel (e.g., AC for the AC class) by ticking the appropriate box.
- For more options, click on ‘Find Trains’ and use filters to customize your search.
- The app will display all available trains on the selected route; choose the most preferable one.
- If applicable, choose specific categories like ‘General,’ ‘Senior Citizens,’ or ‘Ladies.’
- Review all the details and click on ‘Proceed.’
To complete the booking, you’ll need your IRCTC credentials. If you don’t have an account on IRCTC, you’ll need to create one. Alternatively, you can set up an IRCTC account on Amazon itself by selecting the ‘Click Here’ option, which will redirect you to IRCTC to create a profile.
For booking train tickets on Paytm, follow these steps:
- Visit https://paytm.com/train-tickets.
- Enter your source and destination stations, along with the date of your journey, and tap the ‘Search’ button.
- Choose your preferred seat and travel class.
- Tap on ‘Book’ and enter your IRCTC login ID (if you don’t have one, sign up with IRCTC or reset your IRCTC password).
- Complete the required form and click on ‘Book.’
- Make the payment by selecting your preferred mode of payment.
