India’s active Covid-19: India witnessed a dip in the daily Covid-19 caseload, recording 5,874 fresh cases of the infection in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Sunday.
The active caseload has gone below the 50,000 mark and presently stands at 49,015.
The daily positivity rate stood at 3.31% and the weekly positivity rate was pegged at 4.25%.
Twenty-five fatalities, including nine reconciled deaths by Kerala, were reported in the last 24 hours.
India’s active Covid-19: The total number of people who have recovered from Covid-19 stood at 4,43,64,841 after 8,148 people recuperated from the disease in the last 24 hours.
The national recovery rate is 98.71% and the case fatality rate is 1.18%.
