The Indian Navy took a significant step towards operationalising the indigenous aircraft carrier by successfully carrying out the landing of a light combat aircraft (Navy) and MiG-29K on INS Vikrant in the Arabian Sea.
The Navy said naval pilots carried out the landing. According to the Navy, the move will demonstrate India’s prowess in aircraft carrier design, construction and operations while enhancing the Navy’s combat readiness.
