Former batter Imran Nazir said that India are not willing to travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023 because they are “afraid of losing”. Earlier, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said that the Indian team won’t be going to Pakistan for the Asia Cup.
Recently, it was learned that the Asia Cup would take place in Pakistan with India’s matches taking place at a different venue. Nazir said that a number of major teams have visited Pakistan and there is no concerns regarding security. The veteran said that “security” is an excuse for not going to Pakistan.
