After this, there have been a total of 44,998 active cases of corona in the country. Compared to the previous day (April 11), there has been a rapid jump in the cases of corona on April 12. A day before this, a total of 7,830 cases were reported in the country.
Talking about the capital Delhi, 1,149 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours. After this the positivity rate here has gone up to 23.8 percent. In view of the increasing cases, Delhi AIIMS has made the use of masks mandatory for all hospital staff.
Covid cases will increase for 10 days
At the same time, health experts say that Covid will increase for the next 10 days, but after that the cases will start decreasing. The growing number of Covid infections in the country are still in the local stage. The cases of corona recorded today are the highest in seven months.
Booster shot advice for adults
Adar Poonawala, CEO of Serum Institute of India, said yesterday that he has resumed manufacturing of the Covishield vaccine. He said the company already has six million booster doses of the Covax vaccine available and adults should get a booster shot.
