Former Pakistan Prime Minister and cricketer Imran Khan believes that BCCI is maintaining a dictatorial attitude in the cricket world.
Former Pakistan Prime Minister and cricketer Imran Khan has accused the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) of dictatorship.
He has said that BCCI is behaving like a superpower in the cricket world, which is very arrogant and wrong. He also said during this time that the Indian board’s decision not to allow Pakistani players to play in IPL was surprising.
Significantly, for the last few months, there is a dispute between the India and Pakistan Cricket Board regarding hosting the Asia Cup.
The PCB wants to host the Asia Cup at any cost, while the BCCI has made it clear that if the Asia Cup is held in Pakistan, the Indian team will not travel Pakistan.
Due to this attitude of BCCI, all the Asia Cup matches of the Indian team are likely to be organized outside Pakistan. At present, the official statement is yet to come on this, but in the midst of all this, Imran Khan has cursed the BCCI fiercely.
‘BCCI behaving like a dictator’
In a conversation with ‘Times Radio’, Imran Khan said, ‘The relations between Pakistan and India are very sad and unfortunate’. The way India is behaving like a superpower in the world of cricket, this is a very wrong and arrogant attitude.
They raise more funds than other cricket playing countries, so I think their behavior has become like a dictator with whom they have to play and with whom not.
What did Imran say on the IPL ban of Pak players?
Imran Khan said that I find the issue of banning Pakistani players from playing IPL also surprising. It is just an ego. If India does not allow Pakistani players to play in IPL, then Pakistan should not worry because Pakistan has very capable young cricketers.
