Mohd Akbar Sofi an independent candidate contesting on Pulwama assembly constituency started his election campaign from his home village Arihal.
Independent candidate Mohd Akbar Sofi held a road show in his home village Arihal and later adressesd the gathering of people at his residence making his manifesto clear to the people of the village.
Mohd Akbar Sofi said that his manifesto is clearly a total political change in J&K as the political parties and politicians who ruled J&K from last many decades betrayed the innocent people of J&K. He said that he want to give voice to the voiceless people of valley . He further said that people should support new faces in assembly elections as it’s the need of an hour.
Khursheed Ahmad Malik Socio political activist who is supporting independent candidate Mohd Akbar Sofi said that people of valley are aware of each and everything that the party’s did who ruled J&K in past. He said that people of J&K should support new faces who have a vision to change the perspective by which people of J&K are suffering.
