In ‘signature Khalistani style’ she quietly came from behind & hit me: Kangana on CISF constable

BJP leader and actress Kangana Ranaut alleged that a CISF constable “slapped” her at the Chandigarh airport. Ranaut claimed the constable, Kulwinder Kaur, waited to cross her and then “hit her face” in a “Khalistani style.”

On Friday morning, Ranaut shared a tweet by former Indian Army Officer Gaurav Arya on her Instagram stories. Arya’s tweet, posted on X, stated: “CISF Constable Kulwinder Kaur who attacked Kangna Ranaut will be punished. She may lose her job. This whole thing about supporting the farmer’s protest is utter nonsense.”

Arya suggested Kaur entered politics. He compared her situation to Beant Singh’s son winning due to his father’s actions and Amritpal Singh gaining support for resembling Bhindranwale.

Sharing Arya’s tweet, Ranaut wrote: “This makes most sense to me. She strategically waited for me to cross her and in a signature Khalistani style quietly came from behind and hit my face without saying a word.”

Ranaut, newly elected BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, was traveling to Delhi when the incident occurred. She stated she confronted the constable.

“When I asked why she did that, she looked away and started to speak into the phone cameras focused on her. Farmers’ laws have been repealed and don’t concern anyone anymore. Probably this was her way of joining the Khalistani bandwagon, which is getting major political seats in Punjab,” Ranaut wrote.

Ranaut’s accusations have sparked controversy, with social media and political circles buzzing. The incident highlights ongoing tensions and the politicization of public events. The constable’s future remains uncertain, with potential repercussions for her actions.

The incident underscores the intersection of celebrity, politics, and social issues in India. Ranaut’s claims and the resulting public reaction reflect broader societal and political dynamics. The developments in this case will be closely watched.
