A IED is defused in Nagrota : On Tuesday, police and security forces defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the Panjgrain region of Nagrota, Jammu district

Jammu & Kashmir SSP According to Chandan Kohli, a suspicious object was found alongside the highway at Nagrota in Jammu early this morning.

“A technical examination of the object was immediately initiated.” “A bomb disposal team was called to the scene,” said the SSP. He stated that the suspicious device was discovered to be an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) during the inquiry.

The Technical Team / Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) detonated it using a controlled method, he added. A case has been filed under relevant provisions of the law, and an investigation has begun. He indicated that more information will be provided as needed.
