The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed on Friday convened a meeting of officers to review the implementation of Aspirational Panchayat Development Programme (APDP) at Bandipora.
The meeting discussed various modalities for implementation of APDP in the district.
It was given out that APDP is aimed to improve and uplift socio-economic developmental scenarios of panchayats on selected parameters through convergence and with additional financial support.
The DC said that under APDP panchayats will be shortlisted on the basis of least aggregate score obtained on the selected 100 parameters/ indicators across various sectors, and panchayats shall be eligible for seeking financial assistance of Rs. 10 lac after achieving saturation in 10 qualifying indicators.
Dr. Owais on the occasion stressed on the officers to work with added zeal for smooth implementation of APDP. He asked the concerned to submit 100 indicators format early for further process.
The DC also stressed for Plan submission and estimation at an earliest to start and complete works within the shortest possible time.
He also asked the Assistant Labour Commissioner to ensure 100% registration of labourers and coverage of labourers under e-Shram and other insurance schemes.
A demonstration for submitting 100 indicators of APDP was also presented.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Bandipora, Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, ACD Ab Rashid Das, ACP, CEO, District Officers, Executive Engineers, BDOs and other concerned.
