IMF sees India as bright spot in the global economy: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the International Monetary Fund sees India as a “bright spot” in the global economy, while virtually inaugurating the seventh edition of Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investors Summit on Wednesday.

While appreciating the country’s “strong macroeconomic fundamentals”, PM Modi said that even the World Bank considers India in a better position to deal with the global headwinds than many other countries.
