India saw a big jump in the cases of Kovid-19 infection on Wednesday. During the last 24 hours, 7830 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in the country. A day earlier i.e. on Tuesday, a total of 5,676 cases were reported.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday morning, with these new cases, the number of active patients of Covid in the country has reached 40,215.

According to these new figures, 40,215 people infected with corona are currently being treated in the country, which is 0.9 percent of the total cases. At the same time, a total of 4,42,04,771 Covid cases have become infection free, that is, the national rate of recovery of patients is 98.73 percent. While due to this epidemic, a total of 5,31,016 people have lost their lives across the country so far.
Most new cases in Delhi after Kerala
According to the data released on the website of the Ministry of Health, during the last 24 hours, 761 new cases were recorded in Kerala, the highest in the country.
On the other hand, 538 new cases were recorded in Delhi, 221 in Haryana, 216 in Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, while 208 in Maharashtra.
Under the nationwide vaccination campaign in India, 220.66 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been administered so far. At the same time, 441 vaccines were administered during the last 24 hours.
Significantly, on 19 December 2020, the cases of corona infection in India had crossed one crore. On the other side, on May 4, 2021, the number of infected had crossed 2 crore and on June 23, 2021, it crossed 3 crore. Last year, on January 25, the total cases of infection had crossed four crores. However, after this there was a continuous decline in these cases, which have started increasing again since last month.
