Hotel blast in Afghanistan: A blast smashed through a hotel in southern Afghanistan’s Khost province on Monday, killing at least three people and injuring seven, according to the region’s media office.
It was not immediately obvious who was responsible for the explosion.
The Taliban administration in Afghanistan has been conducting raids against members of the Islamic State, which has claimed responsibility for many significant attacks in urban areas in recent months.
