Home Ministry Declares Masrat Alam Led MLJK-MA Faction Unlawful Under UAPA

Home Ministry on Wednesday has declared incarcerated Masrat Alam-led MLJK-MA faction as an unlawful association under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).

An official told al local news agency that the organisation and its members have been found involved in anti-national and secessionist activities in J&K supporting terrorist activities and inciting people to establish Islamic rule in J&K. “Owing to these charges, the Ministry of Home Affairs under Amit Shah has declared the association as unlawful with immediate effect”, the official said.
