Helicopter with 6 people on board missing in Nepal

A helicopter carrying six people, including five foreign nationals, went missing today during its journey from Solukhumbu to Kathmandu in Nepal. The chopper, with the call sign 9NMV, lost contact with the control tower at around 10:15 am.

The Manang Air helicopter that took off from Surki in Solukhumbu went contactless 15 minutes into the flight, The Kathmandu Post reported.

Efforts to locate the chopper, piloted by Captain Chet Gurung, are underway.
