Heavy rainfall lashed Delhi-NCR areas on Wednesday morning, bringing much-needed relief from the humid weather.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a ‘yellow alert’ for the national capital and its adjoining areas, indicating the possibility of more showers later in the day. A yellow alert means heavy rainfall between 6 cm and 11 cm.
The maximum and minimum temperatures will likely hover around 36 and 27 degrees Celsius. The forecast shared by IMD in a post X (formerly Twitter) includes regions such as Delhi University, Civil Lines, Kashmiri Gate, Seelampur, Shahadra, Vivek Vihar, Patel Nagar, Red Fort, Preet Vihar, Budha Jayanti Park, and President House.
