Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday in New Delhi. After the meeting, Khattar said he informed the prime minister about various schemes launched by the government in the state.
“Held a comprehensive discussion with the prime minister on various state schemes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Parivar Pehchan Patra scheme,” said the Haryana CM.The chief minister invited PM Narendra Modi to participate in the Surajkund fair in the state.
Speaking on Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, CM Khattar said the Yatra would not have any impact on the state and that it was the right decision to ask Congress to adhere to Covid-19 rules during its march.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had written to Rahul Gandhi and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to follow Covid guidelines during the Bharat Jodo Yatra strictly.
The minister, taking note of the public health emergency, had also asked the Congress party that if following Covid protocols was not possible, the yatra should be postponed in the national interest.
