In the run-up to the parliamentary and state Assembly elections, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated 392 projects worth approximately Rs 938 crore and laid the foundation stones of 287 projects valued at Rs 2,684 crore during a function in Panchkula on Thursday.
The CM also launched the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY) at a total cost of Rs 600 crore.
A state-level function was organised, where the CM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 20 major projects via video-conferencing.
Some of the major projects launched included the laying of foundation stone of a four-lane elevated road on the Delhi-Agra and Delhi-Vadodara ExpresswayBallabgarh-Mohana Road in Faridabad, costing Rs 214 crore; flyover from Khalsa Chowk to Haryana Nursing Home in Karnal to be built at a cost of Rs 127 crore.
Inauguration of canal-based water supply scheme for 61 villages at Ateli Mandi in Mahendragarh at a cost of Rs 114 crore; inauguration of water supply scheme for 35 villages in Nimar Badhesara of Charkhi Dadri at a cost of Rs 112 crore.
