CSK captain’s fan: Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya revealed his admiration for Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni, saying that he will always be a fan of the CSK captain and only a proper devil can hate the great man. Hardik has always been open about his relationship with former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The two have a particular bond, and Pandya has always looked up to Dhoni.
He is a fan of the Chennai Super Kings captain and has pondered on his experiences. Pandya, as a captain, is composed. He likes to keep things simple, and he rarely displays anger on the pitch, attributes shared by ‘cool captain’ MS Dhoni. On May 23, Pandya will lead the reigning champions Gujarat Titans against Dhoni’s CSK in Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League 2023 at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.
“A lot of people think Mahi is serious and all that. For me, I crack jokes and I don’t see him as Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Obviously, I have learned a lot of things from him, a lot of positive things, which I have learned from just watching, not even much talking. But for me, he is just my dear friend, dear brother, with who I do pranks, who I chill and I will always be a Mahendra Singh Dhoni fan and for so many fans and so many cricket lovers, you need to be the proper devil to hate MS Dhoni, ” Hardik said in a video posted by Gujarat Titans.
Gujarat Titans have faced Chennai Super Kings three times in the tournament’s history, with Pandya’s squad winning each time. CSK have never defeated Gujarat Titans in the cash-rich event since their creation but will be hoping to change that at their home stadium. Gujarat, on the other hand, would like to increase their dominance.
