A Gunfight broke out between terrorists and security forces in Khandara Top Basantgarh area of Udhampur in Jammu province, reports said Wednesday.
Quoting a senior police officer news agency reported that a joint team of police and army launched a cordon and search operation Khandara Top Basantgarh.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight, the official said.
In recent months, the otherwise peaceful province of Jammu has seen a spate of attack of police and army.
