The students of class 12th from Govt. Senior Secondary School Aluna, Basantpura, District Patiala (Punjab), were invited on December 16, 2022, to Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh. A guest lecture on the scope and current trends of nursing was given by Ms. Bhupinder Saini, nursing tutor, Faculty of Nursing, Desh Bhagat University, and Ms. Honey Hasteer, nursing tutor, Faculty of Nursing, Desh Bhagat University, under the guidance of Prof. Lovesampuranjot Kaur, officiating principal, Faculty of Nursing, Desh Bhagat University. They instructed the students in numerous nursing courses as well as the nursing profession and nursing ethics. They also told the students that the profession of nursing is not just a profession but it has the spirit of service to the people.
