Greening around Religious Places launched in Kishtwar

A plantation drive was today conducted in the premises of Shiv Temple, Semna colony, range Kishtwar under “Greening around religious places” drive.
Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav, was the Chief Guest of the function, who marked the start of the drive by planting Deodar sapling.
Others who participated in the said drive were ADDC, Sham Lal Sharma; ASP, Rajinder Singh; DFO, Sagar Singh; SFS, District Nodal Officer AYUSH Dr Vikram Singh; Vice-president Snatan Dharm Sabha Rajinder Gupta; Assistant Commandant CRPF, Vijay Hemrom; Inspector AK Mahaptra, local PRIs, public and Staff of Forest, CRPF and Police Department.
More than 200 Deodar saplings were planted with the provision of the Tree guards for their protection.
The DC directed the Forest Department to develop the area by levelling and landscaping of the ground, planting of ornamental and medicinal plants and making seating arrangements etc. The said drive was appreciated by one and all.
