Govt suspends two employees for hiding records

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir government has suspended two government officials for hiding records.

“Sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Ms. Avleen Kaur Bali, Joint Director (Adm), Directorate of Rural Delopment, Jammu as an Inquiry Officer to conduct an in-depth enquiry into case with regard to alleged concealing and deliberately hiding the relevant records of the works in the erstwhile Block Bhalwal (now Bhalwal and Mathwar) Jammuviz-a-viz role of two Panchayat Secretaries namely Farooq Ali and Mool Raj Raina.” Reads an order a copy of which lies with Press News Of India .

“The Inquiry Officer shall submit her report along with specific recommendations to the Government within a period of twenty one (21) days from the date of issuance of this order.” It reads.

“Further Assistant Commissioner (Development), Jammu shall be the Presenting Officer in the instant case who shall present the case along with the relevant documents before the Inquiry Officer, as and when asked for.” It reads further.

“The Inquiry officer is at liberty to expand the scope of her enquiry to the period and schemes not covered by the Social audit report for the said blocks, which formed the basis of these suspensions.” It reads further.
