Srinagar, January 14 (Gulistan News Tv): Awami Ittihad Party has strongly criticized the administration’s casual approach towards the mysterious disease outbreak in Rajouri’s Badhaal village, which has claimed 12 lives including children.
Expressing anguish over the tragedy, Awami Ittihad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi stated, “The loss of 12 innocent lives due to a mysterious disease reflects the absolute failure of governance. It is shocking that despite such a grave crisis, the administration has been unable to identify the cause or take effective measures to prevent further fatalities. This neglect is a betrayal of the trust the people have placed in the system.”
Taking a swipe at Omar Abdullah, Inam remarked, “It is astonishing that Omar Abdullah has all the time to ski in Gulmarg and enjoy the luxuries of life but no time to visit Rajouri and stand with the grieving families. His indifference underscores the disconnect of mainstream politicians with the ground realities.”
Inam urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to personally intervene, saying, “We appeal to the LG to step in immediately, deploy expert medical teams, and ensure a thorough investigation into the cause of the outbreak. The affected families deserve transparency, relief and adequate compensation. The administration must act now to restore health security in the region.”
Adding to the outrage, Senior AIP Leader and MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed Ahmad tweeted, “Another child lost life in Kotranka Rajouri, taking the death toll to 13. Heart out to families who lost their loved ones. Hope some fuel is left in choppers to listen out to Rajouri and find this MYSTERIOUS.” (Gulistan News Tv)
