Google Introduces ‘Help Me Visualize’ Feature in Slides, Allowing Users to Generate Images with AI-Powered Prompts

Google is introducing a new feature named ‘Help Me Visualize’ that enables users to create images in Slides by utilizing a prompt. This announcement was made during Google’s I/O event last month, and the feature can be accessed through the side panel in Slides.

In a recent tweet, the tech giant stated, “We’re simplifying the process of designing unique and captivating visuals for presentations with Duet AI for #GoogleWorkspace! You can generate original visuals that convey your artistic vision, all with a straightforward prompt in #GoogleSlides. Sign up now to give it a try.”

Here are the key details about ‘Help Me Visualize’:

  1. This feature is powered by Duet AI, an artificial intelligence technology that was introduced at I/O 2023.
  2. When utilizing the AI-powered tool, Google collects and stores certain data, including the prompts entered or selected by the user, chosen image styles, generated images, and user feedback on the generated images.
  3. Once a prompt is entered, users are presented with various rendering styles to choose from, including Background, Clip Art, Flat Lay, Illustration, and Photography.
  4. Access to the AI-powered features requires signing up for Google Workspace Labs, which can be done by clicking here.
  5. It’s important to note that the rollout of ‘Help Me Visualize’ is occurring gradually, and immediate availability may vary. At present, only desktop users have access to this feature.
