Google announces Updated search engine, cracks down on low-quality content

Google’s new update: Google’s most recent tool alerts users whenever their personal information appears in search results. It is now simpler for Google users to access their personal information online. Users can now locate and remove personal data, in particular their contact information, from Google search results.

Google will soon begin notifying users whenever their contact information, such as their#UserControl phone number, address, or email, appears on the search results page. Users can ask Google to remove a specific piece of information based on the notification.

Google announced that it will soon be releasing a dashboard that would allow consumers to see whether search results included web pages with their contact information. Users can easily ask for the results to be removed, but Google will also let them know if a new site result containing their data appears in a search.

The dashboard will automatically scrape websites that contain the same information after a user inputs their personal information. Additionally, it enables people to examine each webpage and request that it be deleted. With the most recent update, users can access their information without having to search for it themselves.

By pressing on the image of their Google account and choosing “Results about you” in the Google app or by visiting goo.gl/resultsaboutyou, users can use this tool.
