Ensure Aadhar based biometric attendance in all offices, provide quality service delivery: Dr. Owais
Continuing the activities of Good Governance week, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed on Saturday conducted a surprise inspection of offices within the premises of mini secretariat, Bandipora.
The DC on the occasion inspected attendance and other records of offices. He said the surprise inspection was carried out to maintain punctuality and discipline in offices. He said that indiscipline of any kind, lack of punctuality and absenteeism will not be tolerated.
Subsequent to the inspection, action was initiated against the officers and employees who were found absent from duty including late comers.
While interacting with officers and officials, the DC said that providing quality public service delivery is the priority of administration and no lackadaisical approach of any kind shall be tolerated in this regard.
He also stressed on maintaining cleanliness and proper maintenance of assets and records.
The DC on the occasion laid stress on biometric attendance in the offices and directed the heads of all departments to ensure Aadhar based biometric attendance of all employees besides maintaining tour and leave records.
During the surprise inspection, the DC was accompanied by District Nodal Officer Coordination Mohammad Ashraf Hakak and other concerned.
