According to sources, the film earned Rs 13.25 crore on the second day. Given the grand opening, the film has become one of the biggest Hollywood openers in India, falling just behind ‘Avatar: The Way of the Water’.
Given the fan craze and anticipation amongst moviegoers, ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’ maintained a stronghold at the box office. The film, which opened to double digits, earned Rs 13.25 crore consecutively on the second day. Thus, it brings the total tally to Rs 26.5 crore.
Given the trend, the film is expected to see a decent growth in the collections on the third day. Interestingly, ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’ is witnessing a box office clash with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Crew’ and Prithvirak Sukumaran’s ‘Aadujeevitham.’
