A speech given by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Bengal is very much discussed in which he had said that if BJP wins 35 or more seats in 2024, Mamta government will fall by 2025. After all, what is the political meaning of this statement, let us know

The BJP vs TMC battle escalated further as Union Home Minister Amit Shah campaigned for his party in West Bengal on Friday. He claimed that if his party wins 35 or more of the 42 Lok Sabha seats in 2024, the Mamata Banerjee government will fall by 2025. In Bengal in 2019, BJP won 18 seats, while TMC got 22 seats.

What did Amit Shah said ?

Addressing a rally at Suri in Birbhum district, Shah said, “I want to say this clearly that Narendra Modi will be the prime minister of the country again. Give us more than 35 seats from West Bengal in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and I will and I can assure you that the Mamata Banerjee government will not survive beyond 2025.” Mamta government’s third term is going to be completed in 2026

In 2024, the people of Bengal will make Modi the Prime Minister once again by giving more than 35 seats to the BJP.

Only BJP can do the work of liberating Bengal from the tyranny of sister and nephew, stopping infiltration, bomb blasts and corruption.

The next Chief Minister of Bengal will be from BJP

Targeting the Mamta government, Shah said that they have a ‘Hitler-like rule’. He claimed that if the BJP returns to power in Bengal by winning more than 35 seats in 2024, no one would dare to attack Ram Navami rallies in the state.

The chief minister may have a dream that her nephew will become the chief minister. Today, I want to assure the people that the next chief minister of the state will be from the BJP,” Shah said.

The fight against corruption will continue

Referring to the recruitment scam and the arrest of people linked to the TMC, Shah said, “No matter how hard Mamata ji and her nephews try, the fight against corruption will continue.” He also raised the issue of the cattle smuggling scam, in which a TMC leader Anubrata Mandal was allegedly involved. Shah said that those arrested by the Government of India for cattle smuggling are still the district presidents of the party.

TMC hits back at Shah

TMC responded by calling Shah a ‘seasonal bird’. Party spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said, “There is a seasonal bird here in Bengal, but no one wants to see it! Mr. Amit Shah, go back to Delhi and do your work. Obviously, nobody in Bengal will care about your nonsense, your lies, not interested in your hateful agenda. Go spew venom somewhere else.
