The faculties of Government Degree College Khaltse organised pre-admission-cum-counseling sessions on the 7th and 13th of December 2022. The students and faculty members of GDC Khaltse visited the Higher Secondary Schools of Skurbuchan, Khaltse, and Tingmosgang villages.
Assistant Professor (English), GDC Khaltse, Stanzin Deldan gave a detailed power-point presentation about the activities of the college and highlighted the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP-2020) in constituent colleges of UT Ladakh.
The students were briefed about the various features of NEP, including the integration of general education with vocational courses, experiential learning, and emphasis on research.
The faculties also organised an interactive question-answer session during every counselling programme. These sessions aimed to encourage higher secondary school students to enroll in the Government Degree College, Khaltse.
