In a heart wrenching incident, four persons of a family died in a road mishap that took place in Jhajjar Kotli area of Jammu late in the night.
As per report, the mishap happened at around 12-12:30am when a Swift car bearing registration number ‘JK02BJ3544’ driven by Nitin Dogra got hit by a speeding truck from rear and crashed into another parked truck in Jhajjar Kotli on Jammu-Udhampur highway, resulted in on spot death of the married couple and their two kids.
After the incident, the victims were rushed to GMC, Jammu for treatment where doctors pronounced them as dead on arrival, while a kid of the family has sustained minor injuries who is receiving treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Nitin Dogra and his wife Ritu Dogra and their kids Khushi Dogra, Vini Dogra residents of Fattu Chowgam in Parade area of Jammu city.
A case was registered at Jhajjar Kotli police station and a probe was taken up.
