Tragedy has struck the Indian Hajj contingent as four pilgrims from Jammu & Kashmir succumbed to heat stroke during their pilgrimage to Mecca. These unfortunate deaths are part of a broader crisis, with 45 Indian pilgrims having lost their lives due to the severe heat wave affecting the region.The deceased pilgrims were identified as part of a group from Jammu & Kashmir, a region known for its cooler climate, making them particularly vulnerable to the extreme temperatures in Saudi Arabia. The local government and Hajj committees are deeply saddened by the loss and are extending their support to the bereaved families
