Four Army Jawans killed in an unfortunate firing incident inside Bathinda Punjab.

After the firing incident at Bathinda Military Station, the entire area has been sealed. All the gates of the station have been closed and army families living inside the camp have been instructed to remain in their homes.

Army’s reaction has come to the fore on the firing incident at Bathinda Military Camp in Punjab. Describing the incident as unfortunate, the Army’s South Western Command Headquarters has confirmed the death of four soldiers of the artillery unit.

The army has said that people have been instructed to stay indoors in the residential area inside the base.

Here, in a short while in the capital Delhi, Army Chief General Manoj Pandey will meet the country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and inform him about the incident.

After the incident, all the entry gates of Army Cantt have been closed. The part of the cantonment where the families of army personnel and officers lives has also been completely sealed.

The army said that whether this incident has anything to do with the missing INSAS rifle and 28 cartridges two days before the camp, it is being investigated in collaboration with the Punjab Police. Along with this, the army has appealed to the media to show sensitivity. The army said that the media should avoid rumors and stay away from speculation.

Information given to the family of the deceased soldiers

According to the information received from the army, this incident took place at 4.35 am on Wednesday. The families of the soldiers who died in the incident have been informed.

According to sources, the attacker is still present inside the military station. However, no information has been made available in this regard by the army.

Punjab government also sought report

On the other hand, the state’s Bhagwant Mann government has directed the Punjab Police to provide a detailed report regarding the incident to the chief minister’s office as soon as possible.

Please tell that Bathinda Army Camp is the largest military base in Asia. In such a situation, the incident of firing inside the camp and before that the incident of missing INSAS rifle and cartridges raises serious questions on the security system.
